Corey on Solo

Corey's been playing musical instruments of one sort or another since he was 4 months old. He started playing a ukelele to help impress chicks for his dad who was a full time Gigilo. He was so good at it, his dad moved him up to the pan flute, the skin flute, and finally the guitar.

When he was seven Corey's dad had hit rock bottom and needed money. So, he put Corey on the street corner with a scuffed up hat and sunglasses and made him play for money. To cheap to take up real drugs, Corey got addicted to sniffing pixi-sticks. It was at his dealer's house that he met Tom. It wasn't long before they beat their addiction to pixi and started playing classic rock covers as 28-IF.

After mastering the cover band scene and sleeping with every groupie that he ever met (even the guys), he decided it was time to look for an original band. Dave actually knew Tom and after Tom asked Dave to join the band as a bass player, he went to check out the 28-IF band and realized Corey was looking for some more work in an original outfit. Se he came to try out with the rest of The Deadwoods. We knew we had a match the first time Corey played with us. He is a classic rock and blues inspired guitar player and an AC/DC freak, which was the missing ingredient in the The Deadwoods recipe. He also loves to drink beer and tell dirty jokes, which certainly doesn't hurt your chances when trying out for The Deadwoods.
