The Deadwoods

What Do We Play? Well, one answer would be hard hitting roots rock.

We love writing, playing and recording music. Period. Our main songwriter is Dave Thom with over 40 original songs written and new ones in the works all the time. We have one full length CD, "Black Eyed Susan", a six song demo called "High Quality Dirt", and we are currently (always?) recording again.

Check out a couple samples off of our latest effort, "Black Eyed Susan":

We also have been known to play many cover songs to fill out the play list for a night. Let's just say this though: we're not a cover band. We play covers for the crowd and to fill time but we are an original band. Don't get us wrong, we like playing the covers but we're doing our own thing and hope to prove that we're good at it.

Below is a list of cover songs that we've played in the past year to give you an idea of what style of music we write and play. We hope that you come down to our next show to check it out for yourselves.
