The Deadwoods are on hiatus. Possibly a permanent hiatus. Time has passed, attitudes have changed, kids were born, free time has dissipated and The Deadwoods have fallen in between the cracks. Don't worry, nothing bad has happened to any of us but we've decided as a band that the time has come for a change. Dave and Corey will be forming a new band, so if you're a bass player or a drummer or a keyboard player or a musician looking for a band, you should contact them (send an email to dave@thedeadwoods dot com). Jason will attempt to keep up with his life and his jobs and James will just be taking a step back and enjoying life outside of a band for the first time in about 15 years!
So stay tuned to this site for news on what becomes of the Dave and Corey show and who knows, maybe a possible Deadwoods reunion show or two! Feel free to keep posting your ludicrous comments in our Guest Book as we'll still be watching it and responding with equally ludicrous responses.
We'd like to say thanks to everybody who supported us along the way. Especially those nutcases (namely Elvis, Jaros, and Jeremy) who came out to see us in podunk bars when no one else would. We really appreciate it and have loved every (well almost every) drunken minute of it! We'll see you at the bar! Go out and support the local music scene!
